Went to the IHOP on the Louisiana Boardwalk. The special Peach/Blackberry cobbler pancakes were awesome!! Two fluffy pancakes, peaches, blackberries With a granola crunch and topped with ice cream. You didn't need syrup because of all of the fruit. They came with ham, hash browns and eggs. The sweet misery. Service was friendly and fast.

This place has gotten an undeserved bad rap. The service is slow, yes, but everyone was very friendly and accommodating. The food was very good. My chicken florentine crepe was really delicious, and the kids' breakfast (which was also good) is an unbeatable deal. Husband enjoyed his ham and egg sandwich. With limited breakfast options in the area, I would surely return. Probably only deserves 4 stars but I'm bumping to negate the unfairly low reviews.

Very very slow service, Noone had any sense of urgency. I don't drink a lot, but my glass was always bone dry. I even had time to eat all of the ice in my glass. The server was unaccomodating when I requested hash browns instead of pancakes and said that the kitchen was too busy to change it. There was only five tables in the whole restaurant.... my server Colby also informed me that if I would like extra hollandaise for my omelet that he would have to charge me, "but [he'll] take care of me this time"... the mushrooms in my omelet were VERY raw, so I had to pick them out. Too bad.

The food is ok. The onion rings are over cooked. Thr service is horrible. We had to get oir own napkins and find another server for anything else we might need. It took 10 mintues before they came by and took our drink order.

I prefer this Ihop over the other Ihop's in this area. Servers have always been friendly, the only downfall we've experienced is prior to seating. Sometimes there isn't someone up front waiting to sit you but it isn't too long of a wait. Nothing very special with this place though, it's neither worse, maybe a hair better, than other Ihop's we've been to. **they do have military discount

There were roaches in the restaurant(on our table), Manager on duty did not have courtesy to apologies, seemed to be in some kind of rush, they could have handled situation much better. Overall poor place to eat and worst customer service.

This is the best IHOP I have visited. Saturday morning, very busy, but the service was outstanding. The entire staff was professional and attentive. Food was fast, hot and accurate. Highly recommend this location.

I remember comming here one Saturday before we went shopping on the Boardwalk. The service was slower than I liked but the food was HOT and very tasty. Better than the Airline Rd. location that is for SURE!

My family and I went there for dinner last night and after being seated a manager approaches my husband and tells him he is required to remove his hoodie. Keep in mind, it's January and we just came in from the cold. Perplexed,..we asked why? To which she responded,.." Well ever since the shootings,..we don't allow hoodies." I was so surprised at the lack of logic regarding this statement I was speechless. My husband just told her that he would need her to turn off the overhead fan then, and after a few minutes someone did. But saying he couldn't wear his hoodie in winter because a shooter somewhere also wore a hoodie makes about as much sense as saying we cant wear pants or shoes. I bet you 'the shooter' was also wearing pants and shoes. And did you know that 100% of shooters drink water? They'll probably stop serving water next. Now let's get to the mediocre food. As with most places,..you can have a fantastic visit or the visit we had just depending on who is there that day. Being ovo lacto vegetarians, there aren't a whole lot of combinations that work for us so we all ordered the egg & hashbrown special with cheese on the eggs. (also comes with pancakes). The hasbrowns I loved,..perfectly cooked wirh a nice crispy exterior, however the eggs were dry and overcooked with little indication that they had seen the direction of cheese. Upon receiving our pancakes, I requested warm syrup. Evidently that is by request only now and instead of receiving the usual carafe, we received a plate covered in small plastic condiment cups filled with syrup. *blinks* Not only was this method wasteful but it also did not allow the syrup to stay warm and it was just as cold as the flavored carafes that never leave the table. All this could be fixed with a small measure of common sense. However the experience has left my family with a bad taste in our mouths and I don't see us going back to that location.

Just left this restaurant. First breakfast they brought out, eggs were cold, bacon soggy, pancakes slightly warm. I sent back the eggs and bacon, and kept the pancakes. They returned with the new breakfast, and the eggs were cold and the bacon soggy even though I specifically requested extra crispy bacon. They took it off the bill and said they're sorry. A,, I wanted was a nice hot breakfast on a chilly rainy morning. Jeez! They're not building spaceships, just making a simple breakfast. I'm done with them.

Hey, it's an Ihop. What're you gonna say? If it's as good as the rest of 'em, it's a decent enough breakfast. Been to this one a few times at different hours of the day and night. Went here for breakfast on a Saturday morning, after visiting the Farmer's Market in downtown Shreveport...It was just a simple hop (Pun) in the Kia, over the Texas Street Bridge. Place was hopping (Pun) due to the fact that there was a charity walk scrambling (breakfast pun, dang!) through the Boardwalk. Ordered the usual, the breakfast sampler, always good. Clean restaurant, good service, no complaints! Joke...I gotta do this: If Hooters is a restaurant where women with large, well...you know, work, where do women with only one leg work?... Ihop! Get it?...I...hop....Buuuuuuaaaaaah! Yooooooou're welcome!
